International Waendel Walk - Friendship Walk, Friday 9th May 2025

Grab your friends, family, or colleagues and strut your stuff over 5km or 10km.

Who knows, you might even make a new friend…or at least a walking buddy for the day!

Tickets available online until 5pm Thursday 8th May 2025.

The Friendship 5K route encompasses a walk around the town centre using footpaths and is accessible by all.

The Friendship 10K route encompasses a walk around Wellingborough using footpaths and grassed open space areas.

The parade leaves the Castle Theatre after the opening ceremony at 5:50pm.

All ticket prices include VAT

The 44th International Waendel Walk is taking place at Castle Theatre – the start and finish point of all the walks.

It will be run by Wellingborough Town Council supported by the Waendel Walk Working Group.

The International Waendel Walk is the only IML Walking Association event in the UK.
