International Waendel Walk - Friendship Walk, Friday 12th May 2023

The 42nd International Waendel Walk begins today at Castle Theatre – the start and finish point of all the walks.

It will be run by Wellingborough Town Council supported by the Waendel Walk Working Group.

The Friday evening Friendship route encompasses a 5K walk around the town centre using footpaths. It is accessible by all.

Come and book your place in the parade from 12pm in the Castle Theatre today.

Entertainment will be in the Castle Theatre grounds from the opening ceremony at 5:50pm through to 8pm.

The International Waendel Walk is the only IML Walking Association event in the UK.
