HMP Five Wells is the local Prison based in Wellingborough.
We are looking to work with businesses big and small to find employment for the Men at the Prison, whether this for when they are released or whilst they finish their sentences via the Release on Temporary Licence scheme, which is where selected Prisoners are thoroughly risk assessed before going out to work each day.
We are also looking to work within the community in various ways to help make Wellingborough a better place for everyone. We currently have several projects we are working on, such as bike tracks and community kitchens etc.
Finally we have just launched the ‘Welly Card’ which is a Staff Discount Card, aimed at working with local businesses to encourage our 700+ staff to shop locally.
