RSPCA Northamptonshire Branch are delighted to be opening their new concept Boutique & Retro Rooms Charity shop in Wellingborough at the corner of 1 Silver Street & Burystead Place.
An official opening ceremony will take place on Friday, June 24, at 10am. Wellingborough Mayor, Councillor Jon Ekins will perform the opening honours.
Lynne Wayland, RSPCA Retail Area Manager said: ‘‘We’re delighted to launch a new RSPCA Boutique & Retro shop here in Wellingborough.as well as a wide choice of affordable clothing, accessories & homewares, the shop will feature two RSPCA Retro Rooms, if you’re a fan of all things Vintage & retro you’ll love our specialist RSPCA Retro Rooms a gold mine of fashion & accessories, antiques and memorabilia from the turn of the century right through to the 80 & 90s”.
Connor Garrett the new shop manager said “Not only will you bag a bargain for your home or wardrobe at the new Wellingborough store, you will also be helping your local RSPCA to help & support animals across the Northamptonshire County”
Connor is also looking for new volunteers to help in the store.
No experience is needed, and training is provided. There is a wide range of roles available, from sorting and preparing stock, till operators, customer service assistants, Vintage & Retro enthusiasts & Vinyl record buffs etc
“We will also welcome any students that are passionate about design & crafting as the shop will feature a “Sewing Bee” department, where students, can get involved introducing their own designs, creating fresh ideas with a vibrant energy.
