Wellingborough Town Council was formed following a Community Governance Review in 2018. Wellingborough Town Council serves a community of approximately 46,000 residents within its parish boundary. It consists of 23 councillors who were elected for four years on 6th May 2021, holding office until May 2025. Wellingborough Town Councillors receive no financial allowances for their term in office.

Wellingborough Town Council aims to provide some local services in tandem with other local authorities within the area. It is a community focused council, striving to make Wellingborough a better place to live, work and play.

Waendel Walk 2023 Logo

The 42nd International Waendel Walk is taking place from Friday 12 to Sunday 14 May 2023 at the Castle Theatre – the start and finish point of all the walks.

It will be run by Wellingborough Town Council supported by the Waendel Walk Working Group.

Bookings are open online now until 12pm on Friday 12th May 2023.
